I Count!!

Nov 04, 2006 20:46

Whoops, another week gone by with no posting from me in my LJ. Best intentions and all that. Week has been pretty normal really, other than I have listened to a very bizarre range of radio stations in attempts to hear interviews with Alan Fletcher, Jackie Woodburne and Natalie Bassingthwaighte (I so can't spell her name).

I did have good intentions about posting here mid-week but then wasn't well so didn't. I proved Mr Descartes theory - Cogito ergo sum. I was watching tv when I suddenly thought I feel sick. I thought it and I was! Oh joy! I swear spewing your guts up has to be one of th worst feelings on earth.

Anyway moving on to more positive things, I spent today in Trafalgar Square helping to steward the big Climate Change rally organised by the Stop Climate Chaos colations. It was to launch their 'I count' campaign which is trying to get people to lower their carbon footprint. There were about 15,000 people there and it was excellent. When you see all those people gathered together, some of whom had come so far to be there, you can't help but be inspired. We had K T Tunstell and Razorlight performing live which was quite class and random other people speaking. It was rather cold (there was a certain irony about campaigning against global warming while being so cold you couldn't feel your feet) but bright and sunny so can't really complain.

Anyway hope all is well in your worlds and I promise to post mid-week next week, well I'll try anyway.
