(no subject)
well, i kind of regret not posting for a while. Its because im semi-busy and i decide that the 5 minutes i spend doing this will be better spent browsing other sites on the net. As it usually goes, posts should pick up once school starts (the 18th). If not from sheer boredom, because i have somewhat interesting or ranty things to write about. But today ill do an update of sorts.
Steve the kitty got all better, though he is still sneezing sometimes. Hes such an active little kitty, running all around the house, up and down the stairs, and pouncing on anything that he can. Having a kitty is great, and i wish i could just trap him in that developmental phase, haha. And the size at which i got him. he was so tiny and cute! anyways, he will be a cool older cat because hes not grumpy or anything.
Work is uber meh right now. Im in the process of transferring to a store that is probably 4 or 5 times closer to my house than the one i actually work at right now. But i have a feeling that they are going to delay it as long as possible, even though they said "we will do it when school starts." Now its just a bunch of crap, like oh we are cutting hours so you have to take a longer lunch (why cant i just leave early, i would appreciate that so much more). right after that: oh, hey, can you stay an hour later? and they wonder why i say no. I changed my availability to what it would be for school (with the new store in mind because its like half an hour closer) and i said, its cool if you dont work me the 2 days where its like 5-10. id rather not drive all the way out here. ITS A LOT OF TIME AND GAS. what do they tell me yesterday? "so, you are scheduled all your days next week, and some of them are 5:30-10:30, but thats only if you dont get the cleaning done." so now im not getting home till 11. you know, some times at 11 i get so sleepy i practically fall over mid sentence and pass out? oh well.
School is already being tricky too. Im not really in the classes i need to be in, and i have to fix that this friday. id also like to get more reasonable times, so im not staying till really late in the afternoon all 4 days. if i cant get into the art classes i need to take, i might as well start considering declaring another major. I mean, marketing sounds really interesting to me too, and i can always incorporate art into that.
Things i need to buy, where need = want really bad:
-a new mouse (because wireless is cool and all but changing the batteries is no fun. Also when i dropped it down the stairs the other day, the scroll wheel got stuck to one side).
-Fish! (because they are really pretty and im sure steve would like to watch them with me).
-An iPhone (oh i wish. it would be so cool. but i doubt ill ever get one).
Ive also started to remodel my bathroom this week. Im taking pictures as i go, so i may post a few. It might be good to have a photo post in general. but anyways, its going from a teal color with a kiddie theme to a light brown color that will make it look a little more grown-up. i cant wait till i have my own house. then i can do all sorts of stuff like this all the time. well, not all the time, but you know what i mean. I would also keep it infinitely cleaner than this house is right now. As of right now, i think the only problem jordon and i will have with clutter is that we leave piles of clothes on the floor. i think everyone does that though.
im also thinking about "redoing" my room. not in the sense that i will paint or anything, but i am thinking about taking down all the cds. i feel like ive moved out of the stage of my life where that was world-shatteringly cool. ill probably re evaluate having like 10 pictures on the walls as well.
