Ugh, yesterday was tiring. Mostly worth it, but I think I'm just going to spend today with my notebook and some tea, get some work done. Definitely not up to getting out again.
Krestin is turning out to be rather useful indeed. An excellent distraction (whether I want it at the time or not, unfortunately) and he's good for...tests of concentration, as I put it yesterday. I doubt that slipping out of the shadowform due to distraction is going to be a problem, it takes hardly any focus to keep up, but of course it never hurts to test that. Of course he's useful in other ways as well- he asked my advice on how to handle the situation with Norrien, and I've encouraged him to just keep quiet until it's necessary to bring it up. I'm sure the longer that little rift keeps up, the easier it will be to maintain.
Hm. Speaking of useful, I wonder... No, Rynlan, housemates are not to be used for experimentation. Don't push it.
That tavern is awfully distracting. I could hardly pay attention to the conversations I did want to follow, much less chat up Phexos nearly as much as I'd have liked. A shame, but at least it was entertaining- not to mention a veritable goldmine for plot ideas. Not that they pay me to write plot, but you know, I have to take some pride in it and damn it, those plots will make sense. So help me, if they want me to change any of that...ngh. Editors. They'd been wanting something to do with trolls anyway, so this should do nicely.
