What happens when you mix Dead Can Dance with Tears For Fears on the same playlist:
You turn UP the sound to listen to "Mother Tongue." Then you go about your business, forget the sound is cranked up, and you're blown out of your office chair like the Pioneer Man when "Mother's Talk" comes on. The fact that both these songs mention "Mother" is really not cause for any deep reflection. It's certainly not cause to go add "Mother" by the The Police onto the playlist. At the rate today's sound controls are going, the last thing my office needs is to hear my music blaring, "AND THE TELEPHONE IS RINGING; IS THAT MY MOTHER ON THE PHONE? AND THE TELEPHONE IS SCREAMING; WHY WON'T SHE LEAVE ME ALONE?" Story of my life. But that is another story.
