I was thinking something equally Wonderland-ish...like you know that live action version from the 80s? It makes me think of Carol Burnett's White Queen, for some reason. Or a harlequin doll.

Also not digging the pleats. Especially the embroidery-inside-the-pleats thing. I have to admit that the embroidery motif itself actually isn't bad, at least in its less heavy-handed incarnation (i.e. the back bottom of the train. Not liking it so much on the bodice just because it seems to outline/emphasize the twins, and mine don't need help.) And something about the way the embroidery line is so heavy coming down the back pleats into the more delicate embroidery on the back of the train is just weird. And I think the matching purse looks kind of tacky, with the really dark top and white bottom.

I do actually have a positive on this one, though--I do like the corset-laced back (and would very strongly consider having one on the dream wedding dress I've sewn up in my head.) And you're right-- that print WOULD make good scrapbook paper!

I am planning to vote-- I just need some time to sit down and review the dresses, and that hasn't happened yet. Along with getting my AB pics up on Facebook. Along with doing my laundry. And my lesson plan for band tomorrow. Yikes. And with that, off to work again...
