Today was my last day at work. It felt kind of weird to clock out for the very last time after almost 3 years, but it was a surreal feeling. American Express is not going to be a career or anything (unless I were to go to the web design dept after I graduate), but it marks a huge change in my life. I'm so ready for my life to keep going in the right direction. I'm falling a little(a lot) behind in my perspective drawing class and that makes me really upset at myself, but I'll figure it out. It's so hard to jumble working full time and going to school full time and this is my first semester in college after being out of school for almost 3 years, so I'm not going to beat myself up too much over it.
Oh also, everyone at work gave me $225 cash and a $75 gift card as a going away present. It feels good to be loved by so many people! No work place will ever be as loving as that one, it's the only thing that made up for how shitty it was. So that means this Friday I will be shopping my heart out! w00t!
