(no subject)
I had a great visit with my parents on Sunday. I think my relationship with my parents gets better every time I see them. If you had told me 8 years ago that my parents would be 2 of my favorite people in the whole world, I never would have believed you. The two of them continue to amaze me all the time. Apparently my dad won a dance contest at some bar in Pontiac on Sat(obviously not Tiki Bob's or something but still...), and my mom was doin Jager shots. Anyways, they picked me up from work, and ate at the bar, I got to introduce them to some of my work friends which is always kind of fun (really!). Then we just came back to my house and watched The Motorcycle Diaries. It has subtitles, but it's a really great story about Che Guevara and his journey across South America and Che realizes that there are many unfortunate people in the world, and he wants to help them, which basically inspires him to go to Cuba. "Let the world change you and you can change the world." SEE IT! :-P
