When I heard that Mach-mood Ah-ma-deena-jahd won the Iranian presidential election "by a landslide", I was pretty sure that the results were rigged. The subject of politics is entirely too timely for me to be too quiet on the subject. I mostly pay attention to what affects my world directly, but this presidential race is interesting enough that I've spent a good bit of time looking at legislation proposed and voted on by the candidates, which I find to be a lot more telling than the speeches ( Read more... )

Hillary Clinton announced her intentions of presidency and will be having live video chat starting Monday. Personally, I have a lot of political reservations about her (wtf?), but I think her approach with the exploratory committee raises the bar for modern political interaction and she's done well with the execution of her concept so far.
