Where did the weekend go and why is my throat suddenly scratchy. I can account for the scratchy throat I guess. Handling a bunny, being in constant low humidity environments and then inadvertently having a banana for lunch was too much irritation for one throat to take. I'm just lucky it was spaced throughout the day. If a humid sucking banana-bunny ever came after me well.... it's probably best to just not think on these things.

The weekend however was painfully relaxing :) reddywhp came and stayed  with panth and myself Friday afternoon through Sunday. I kicked off the weekend evening with a little more Assassins Creed 2 while waiting for the rhino, who ended up being stuck in traffic for close to 3 hours. Once he arrived and got a breather from the car we headed out to a private party in the local burbs. Details will be covered in the separate journal I talked back in my last post. Party was fun but had a very mellow setting. We hung around for a little while before making our trek back to the house.
Following morning I introduced him to Clark's for breakfast to fuel the rest of our day. I still had work I needed to do in the office, though it was minimal and he needed to get paper worked signed for the place he is staying at. I needed to get back to the house for a few choirs before heading out again in the evening so we made our way back to Evanston. After cleaning up and gear packed, headed on down to the CHC and waited for invncble and perro to arrive. Super amazing evening and enjoyed getting further to know people I'd met in passing the last time.

Sunday morning involved us heading into Old Town for brunch at The Bistrot Margot with a few more of Reddy's friends. GET THE FRENCH TOAST. All im going to say :) Very well priced and huge portions made it a total win. After brunch we all headed back into the city for a free day at the Chicago Art Institute. I enjoyed it though I'll be the first to say the meaning and maybe true appreciation was a wash on me. Though apparently i'm very good at finding the "hidden" things in art.

So all in all, amazing weekend to come down from and ride into a week like this one heh!

fun, food, art
