T: Sorry I was struggling with that a bit.
W: That's OK, that usually happens at this point in your cycle.
T: It does? I thought the point of being a woman was to be emotionally unpredictable.
W: You like breaking rules. You're very consistent about it.
T: Really? Darn.
W: Sometimes I could set my watch by your mood cycles.
T: Huh.
(pause)
T: I sometimes forget that I'm living with someone who is quite intelligent and watching me carefully.
W: Well, I *am* inquisitive *and* observant.
T: ...somehow all I can think of is someone saying "What happens if I poke *this*?"
