who would have thought i would like bollywood?
Yesterday when I went to Borders I was browsing and I found Bride and Prejudice. Which I had wanted to see when it came out but no one wanted to go except Patrick and we never got around to it. So I was excited and then I found out it has Naveen Andrews. Sayid is worth my $15. You. Guys. This movie kicks ass.
1. Singing. OK, the songs aren't all wonderful but they don't suck.
2. Dancing. I mean all out, dozens and dozens of people, all dancing. Pretty fun. Also Naveen Andrews busting a move.
3. Costumes. Indian movies have the best costumes. Lots of colors and sparkles and gorgeous fabrics.
4. Hot boys. Not only hot boys, but hot boys from England.
5. For some inexplicable reason there are men in drag in one of the musical numbers. I'm not sure if that's some traditional Indian thing or not.
Now I am going back to my Doctor Who marathon and cleaning my room. An exciting Friday.
