Monty Oum, creator of RWBY and the Dead Fantasy series of video mashups, died today at the age of 33 due to complications from surgery. As I am mildly heartless, I am disappointed that I will never see the end of the Dead Fantasy series, which I had been hoping for now for several years.

Microsoft Windows 8 update will be free when it comes later this year, a statement which suggests the last update wasn't free. I suppose they want kudos because 8.1 will be free as opposed to charging not only for the OS but for each update too? If not, why is this a thing, at all?
