I can't believe the news today
I was outside talking to my mom by the Koi pond today and my brother walks over. He started asking me about my boyfriend and surprises me with this conversation.
Brandon: You two should get married.
Me: *pause* ...You do realize that we've only been dating a month as of tomorrow, right?
Brandon: Oh. Well, you two are really cute together.
...After nearly tripping on my way to my car, I managed to pick up my jaw. My brother practically adores Nate after having met him maybe once. He called my boyfriend a "sweetheart".
I hope Nate realizes that this is the highest compliment you can receive in my family.
