Please put the doctor on the phone 'cause I'm not making any sense

Tonight at my grandma’s I met this really awesome guy. He’s my cousin Dan’s friend who is back from Iraq for a few weeks. First he taught me how to make dreadlocks. That in itself was cool enough.. but then we started talking about Iraq and stuff and how much he hates that people in America (news stations) think that this war is a spectator sport. It’s so true. It’s bad enough that he has to watch his own back and the men that he’s with, but the fact that he has to watch the back of the news casters who haven’t even been trained just makes things more difficult. They come in and think that they are doing something wonderful by filming soldiers giving barbies to little kids, when that’s not what they are really there for. They do things like that until someone gets shot at then the next day they do it again until someone is shot at until someone dies…. He told me a lot of his own opinion on a lot of other things and it was just really interesting to talk to him. I’m glad I got the change to hear the truth for once without any outside influences.

Other random things of my weekend:
-It takes me and Bean a really long time to get vodka.
-Allison needs to be babysat.
-My mom likes to create drama.
-I can’t make myself throw up.
-My older sister hates me for reasons beyond my control.
-Sarah sucks at finding keys that are right next to her.
-West Milford coffee is way better than Stateline coffee.
-When you are going somewhere that you know you’ll be hugging people then you should wear a big fuzzy white sweatshirt.
-(insert all the things that I couldn’t exactly remember here)

RANDOM THING OF THE DAY: "I want to be all you think that you see."
