Fletcher looked around for a table to sit at, holding his bowl of cereal in his hands. He still didn't really know anyone here... He wasn't accustomed to being around so many strangers all the time. It didn't feel right.
But it looked like there was another boy here around his age. He felt awkward, but he at least wanted to say hello to him. So Fletcher approached the table, and asked, "Can I sit here?"
Romeo looked up and grinned at the sight of someone else his age, with all the adults around Romeo felt awkward and it was nice to know there were other kids here. "Hello!" He smiled and nodded, "Of course you can," he smiled again and watched as Piccolo bounded over the table to wriggle his nose in greeting.
Romeo smiled as Piccolo started sniffing at Fletcher's hand, looking for more food. Romeo didn't think Piccolo liked porridge very much. "Nice to meet you Fletcher," he said, because that was polite.
"You can pick him up if you want," he said nodding at Piccolo, "But he will try and steal your food!"
Fletcher reached out to pat Piccolo, and spooned some of his cereal out onto a napkin for him. He didn't mind sharing; he hadn't had much of an appetite since arriving.
Picccolo nosed at the cereal and started to eat, Romeo smiled at Fletcher's kindness and nodded at the question his smile fading a little. "I think everyone did, well everyone in my room didn't know where we were," Romeo poked at his porridge, he was trying not to think about the fact that they were stuck here and there worlds were destroyed.
"Yeah..." Fletcher tapped at his cereal with his spoon and looked down at the bowl. "I... I just wish someone was here to answer us. I don't like this."
Romeo nodded staring down at his porridge, "Well someone said that they would be answering questions soon, so maybe they'll explain things," he doubted it though, because if there were any answers why would they make them wait so long. He sighed and realised he was thinking about sad things again.
He reached over to touch Fletcher's arm, "We can't be sad," he told him seriously, "We have to keep our spirits up!"
Fletcher took a bite of his cereal, then shrugged and answered. "I lived in this really small town with my brother. We grew plants to try and help everyone out..."
Romeo listened carefully and smiled, helping people out sounded like a great thing to be doing! He decided Fletcher was obviously a really nice person, "That sounds really fun!"

"Thanks," he said, and took a seat across the table from Romeo. He held a hand out to Piccolo curiously. "I'm Fletcher."

"He's more gready, he's had half of mine but I don't think he likes porridge very much."

"Did you just get here a few days ago too?"

"It's such a scary place," he murmered.

When Romeo touched Fletcher's arm he looked up, a little surprised. "I... I know, but..." He shifted where he was sitting. "Sorry."
