Let it snow
Well, we got our first snow accumulation of the season last night.  We had hail accumulation a few weeks ago, but I don't think that counts.  I was planning on taking the bus today, but after I got the snow off the Matrix (for daemon82 ) I was late for the bus, so I drove the Camry in.  We got maybe an inch on the ground, and about 2 inches on ( Read more... )

 Long time no see
So last Thursday a friend of mine (Allison Bailey) from my Rose-Hulman years visited daemon82 and myself and she took us out to dinner.  Well, actually the friend she was travelling with paid, but it was still very nice.  We went to Benihana, which is a hibachi style Japanese restaurant, and I got to try some sake for the first time.  It ( Read more... )

Transportation
About 200 yards from Cedar, while riding the 37, I saw the 32x go by.  I then got off the 37 at Cedar, walked back home, and drove in.  I think I'll be heading the other way on the 37 from here on out.  If I miss the 6, I can catch the next one 5 minutes later, rather than 30 minutes later.  Blarg.

Mmmmm, free food.

I don't feel like reading this 25 page review of microfluidics at the moment, so I'm going to talk about the past few days, which were generally enjoyable.
