My oncologist says that my chemotherapy is working. My liver tumors are either smaller or they've disappeared altogether.
I had a chemo infusion a couple days ago. Once again, after about ten minutes, I had a sort of allergic "reaction" to the infusion. I suddenly started coughing, my head became very heated, and I saw tiny white lights moving in front of my eyes. I hadn't been supplied with a bell to ring this time, so I had to say out loud, "I'm having a reaction." The nurse came over and stopped the chemo infusion and started an infusion of an anti-inflammatory medicine. Another nurse applied a cool washcloth to my face. After about an hour, my Taxol infusion was restarted.
