Mom goes to the hospital

My Livejournal entries haven't been very happy in a long time.  It seems I've had about a year and a half of mostly bad news.  Well, here's some news that started out bad, and became okay.  On Monday my 91-year-old mother suddenly became very ill and I went with her in an ambulance to our local hospital.  She thought she was having a stroke.  To make a long story short, the doctors finally figured out that she was simply over medicated.  Her doctor had prescribed a lot of different pills, and her body had a really bad reaction to them.

She returned home after spending a couple days in the hospital and having many, many tests of all kinds performed on her.  So, see?  After the initial scare, everything's  okay.
