R.I.P. Ray Bradbury

I saw him in person years ago at a fantasy/science fiction convention. He told his audience that when he was younger, he had his fortune told at a carnival. The fortune teller said to him, "You will live forever."

I read in today's newspaper that Bradbury said he "was inspired by a chance meeting in 1932 with a carnival magician called Mr. Electrico who, at the end of his performance, reached out to the captivated 12-year-old, tapped him with his sword and said, 'Live forever!'"
I thought it was a fortune teller, but that's my senior memory problem, I'm sure.
