Stepping Stone
Today I finally made a stepping stone from one of the kits I received last year as a birthday present. Instead of embedding tile or glass for its surface decoration, I pressed leaves into the wet cement. I hope the leaf veins will make interesting impressions.
I started reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, by Stieg Larsson, a few days ago. It's a bit slow for the first couple of chapters, and then becomes more intriguing. The slow part was a description of a financial swindle which is a subject that just doesn't interest me much, but it's an important part of the book's plot.
I'm re-watching the entire Dark Shadows series on DVD while painting at night. I started a painting last night that has a Halloween theme.
