After the Storm

It's quiet now, but less than an hour ago we were getting hammered with torrents of rain. My poor little dogster, Ginger, was shaking and panting simultaneously because she's afraid of storms, even though there was very little thunder to be heard. I hope my tomatoes and other potted plants survived the deluge.

I'm working on a very detailed painting these days. It's in the style of the painting I created a few years ago, titled "Animal Medley." The one I'm working on now is more complex and sophisticated so it's taking forever to complete.
