Gardening and a Dream
I hope it's not too early, but I planted all four of my tomato plants in containers yesterday (in the rain). I also planted two very pathetic broccoli sprouts. I hope they make it. At one point I needed to use a wire cutter and asked my mother if I could use hers. She silently nodded her assent, arms crossed in front of her. She's still not speaking to me.
Last night I dreamed I saw a bunny machine -- like a soda pop machine only with live bunnies dispensed when you inserted money. As I turned toward it, the side fell open and a whole bunch of bunnies came tumbling out. As I explored the insides of the machine further, it turned into a large area housing kittens and other baby animals. The kittens had beautiful designs on their fur. I wanted to adopt one with gray jigsaw puzzle piece markings on it, but someone got it before I did. Then I saw a duckling that was only as big as the fingernail on my baby finger. I gave it some ground corn, and when the duckling ate it he grew bigger in a matter of minutes before my eyes.
