Well, it's been a few weeks, and I could write about toku some more, seeing as how not much else is going on, though I did go to Kitsune-Kon for a couple of days this weekend, pretty good for a first-year con. I dressed as Phillip and of course not many people knew who I was. Oh well, still fun...
First off,
Eps 2 and 3 of Gokaiger were really good, though I have to say I liked ep 3 more. We get to see KAI/MagiRed which was YAYs :D He's done pretty well maturing, though I don't know if he's been in really anything since Magi(perhaps school/college *shrugs*). I liked how they had Don learn about summoning up his courage to do stuff, and how he saved Marvelous by analyzing ahead (I'm guessing, either that or he's got some kind of ability otherwise?) to know that the rock would crack out of the cliff. I did like the glimpse of MagiRed over Kai, as well as seeing Flagel :D
I do like that we see Joe's past next week, and perhaps how he became Gokai-Blue...
One more thing I was amused by, I poke at past-toku alums' blogs occaisionally, and couldn't help but notice Ebisawa Kenji's(since he played Gunpei/Go-On Black). In one of his latest posts, he remarked on 'that I turned on the tv to see me (Go-On Black) on the show.... But.... a SKIRT.... *__*;;; (can't do his proper symbol-expression)' I think he also 'wondered if they would have Go-On Black be in a G3 Princess dance-skit or something for a moment...(LOL)' Heh, so yeah it's kinda fun to go back to see them have fun with it...
And now, onto OOO...(sorry if I didn't format right and spoiled) :D
Oh WOW, what crack... I do like the idea of the older sister working in her younger sister's shadow, since she was happy just to be able to research. But I wonder if she was doing it to attract Date's attention, since she was apparently hinting at that at the end. Seemed that way since her desire didn't really flare up until she was going to meet him and kept wondering why her hypnosis wouldn't work on him, so... I do like that Yumi saved her younger sister from the falling debris, since she seemed that kind of person.
I like that we got more out of Date's character this week, like that he seems to have some kind of medical condition going on(since he was refusing the check-ups), and that he's a 'military-doctor'. That alone seems to be important since I'm thinking he was perhaps the one who treated Eiji after he couldn't save the girl during the war he got caught in... I dunno, I mean, I was figuring he was in the war, perhaps even shot the missile that killed her, but I think once it comes out that Eiji was in the particular war, I'm pretty sure Date will remember... Another glimpse of stuff is that Maki went off when he saw Chiyoko's picture...
But teh CRACK, OMG WTF... from the moment Eiji went under the love-hypnosis to when they forced him to Henshin... I dunno what was funnier, the 'Love Combo-Kamen Rider' or Eiji going around the pole hitting Ankh every time he passed him, with Ankh going '-_____-;;;;;' :D
Next week... there's a LEFT ARM oh Ankh running about... 0_o
