30 days of toku list, Go---KAIJaa, and Kamen Rider OOO
Well, let's see, my list so far, wow I kinda didn't post for a while:
Day 14 - current (or most recent) toku wallpaper - Ankh with Eiji in the background
Day 15 - Post a cool team-up - Go-Onger vs Shinkenger, esp the Reds’ parts
Day 16 - Favorite Cameo - Hoji’s actor(DekaRanger) in KR Den-O
Day 17 - Favorite tsundere - 'I'm just a passing-through Rider' Tsukasa, though he helped the AU Riders anyway...
Day 18 - Something moe - Wataru (Kiva) especially in protecting himself from the outside-world
Day 19 - Mandatory swimsuit post - meh, used formal Go-Ongers instead ;p
Day 20 - Weirdest Concept - Decade’s FFRs…. It was kinda cool to reference the weapons each Rider uses… but to TURN them into it?? And do I really want to know what the writers were on when they came up with the one used in Den-O’s World…? *__*
Day 21 - Best yandere character - Mutsuki, KR Blade, especially when he becomes Leangle
Now onto the new Sentai, which I am seeing is making quite the impact on the fandom... I really liked the opening, it's sorta reminiscent of the Rider War that started KR Decade, though this didn't end so well as apparently they all got scattered to space after a final-ditch effort to defeat the Zangack Empire the first time. Seems the Gokaigers picked them up as the Sentai-Keys, or perhaps Joe(Blue) snagged them when he defected from the Zangack Force to Captain Marvelous' side, we'll have to see.
Speaking of Red, I'm really liking him and it's not hard to see perhaps that Toei is perhaps snagging little bits from One Piece (which it animates) and inserting them into the show. Especially with the characters(Red, Blue and Luka/Yellow especially smack of Luffy, Zoro and Nami), and I'm liking them all. Even Aihm (Pink), which is a bit of a rarity since I don't tend to like Pinks unless they show a bit of character as the series progresses. I think Don(Green) is shaping up to be my favorite character already, he dosn't seem like much at first of course, but already he's showing 'freeter-ism wackiness' seen in most previous-Greens, plus he's the scientist of the group(which we havn't seen since Sion from TimeRanger). :D I'm hoping we get more of a background for each, since apparently they came from worlds already ravaged/colonized by the Zangack Empire.
I was amused by who they chose to change into, first the GoRanger (with the WAIT WTF DUMPTRUCK?? attack), then Shinkengers followed by MagiRanger. All so they can defeat the fodder and then the MotW, who didn't last long with the Final Wave attack. They used the Gattai earlier in the show in their entrance to Earth, and that was actually cool, along with the Gokai-Galleon ship they use to roam around space. Have to see more next week of course, and who they change into ^_^
After that, then Kamen Rider OOO, with the recent arc showcasing a bit of Gotou-improvement which was good. I was impressed he's been training and practicing with the Birth-Buster Date let him have, and getting used to the recoil. He also was cool in interacting with the son of the Yummy-guy, even inspiring him to reject his desire when Uva was about ready to make a Yuumy from the kid...
And of course we have Date and Ankh fighting over Cell-Medals, though that was cool when they worked together - Date went in with his Cell-collecting weapons, and then Ankh snuck in to collect Cores, driving off Uva. I'm still hoping they get to the deal with Ankh's Cores and his Greeed-body and all soon. Perhaps next week we may get the reason why Date thought Eiji looked familiar, I'm speculating perhaps he was at the war where Eiji couldn't save the little girl (and would probley suck if it turns out he fired the missile which hit the girl...)
Since of course it was the Valentine's Day ep, we had the Cous decorated as such, though those very ugly 'angel' costumes Akiko used from her 'film' were used again and worn by Gotou AND Eiji... (I'm pretty sure Ankh was mocking him at the end, he looked like he needed a laugh after Eiji gave up the Uva-Cores and all...) They looked fugly then, and still very much do when worn by both... I wonder with this then they'll have the holiday called White Day then? Then again, it's probley close to Hana-Mi so they'll probley do something more related to that... *shrugs* Have to see with the recent arc perhaps showing hints of more to come.
