Had the past four days off and they were GLORIOUS. I'm definitely not working more than 5 days for the near future...weekends are so very important.

- I'm very very sun burnt. My back is a big, red mess and I've been sleeping on my front to avoid the burning I'm feeling. I bet this is what it feels like to be whipped T_T

This obsession with swallows will NOT leave me alone!

This particular painting took a while due to the very detailed subject. The bankground is a smooth blend of multiple teals and blues and greens with dashes of sienna, and I must have spent hours trying to get the medium to behave because honestly, acrylic is NOT made for this sort of blending.
