It's been...a while, now. And time passes differently on PE anyway, so if a day can pass like a minute, it probably has. I'm greatful to everyone who's taken care of me. I'm greatful to have my big brother back --knowing he wasn't a traitor all these years, and knowing he wasn't against us means a lot to me. I lost a sibling and gained one at the same time.
Our extended family... Those who opposed us are dead. The bitterness that our generation carried is over. The older generation are already dead or getting old and dying. Kids are being born. It's time to lay the past to rest and rebuild. This time, I'm going to make sure that we don't try to build up some 'name' for ourselves. It only got us into trouble in the first place.
I'm trying to understand magic beyond what I can do. Not just to help my own abilities, but to understand Gee-Gee, in a way. The fact that he practices necromantic magic was always salt for me to rub in the wound. But it's not dark. It's not white. Magic is defined by what you use it for. No more, no less. And that can help me control myself better.
*sighs*
...but I have Oreos. And Oreos make things a lot better. *smiles*
