News from home
K just talked to R for a while. Some good news from home:
- The crazy neighbor finally moved and the new neighbors seem like our kind of people.
- A family of deer has moved into our yard.
- R's finding RV trailers that are far nicer than we'd planned on looking at for anywhere from $1000-3500. o.O That's like... a tenth of what we were expecting to pay!
K let him know that we're coming home soon. We'd been kicking around the idea of staying through Thanksgiving, but it's really time to go home.
Had a wonderful Halloween with nefermoon and her husband. Hung out, ate awesome food, watched movies, carved pumpkins. Well, I didn't carve pumpkins, I mostly sat and watched. I suck at it, but that aside, I'm coming down with something and didn't really have the energy to be much more than a lump. A slightly shivering lump. (My tolerance for cold disappears when I'm sick. *stares lovingly at her new space heater*) Sorry guys. :-( I'm going to miss them. Such good friends are really hard to find. *sniffle*
Speaking of good friends, we'll be seeing skyesurfer this week and going on one final grand adventure! At least, if she decides she's brave enough to brave the ick. And the ick doesn't drag me down to the point that I CAN'T go on one final grand adventure, but I'm stubborn that way.
I'm feeling rather sad today. For the most part, being up here has been such a wonderful adventure. I'm going to miss it.
