Ahhhh....820 in the morning and I have been in my building for over 22 hours, well on campus that long anyways. I left for two hours in that period to get lunch and then get dinner/finger paint. Other then that I have been sitting here cramming for a calc exam I will undoubtably fail. I hope I get a pitty grade in the class. I am just really glad that it is over with. Yesterday was a long day as well. Starting with a lab group meeting, and then lunch with lab group, then worked on presentation for geotechnology final. Went over our info with our advisor, and had to make changes and stuff so we rushed to do that. Then gave the presentation and were told by the prof that he didn't really care about what we were doing cause it wasn't really related to his areas of interests. Which doesn't really lead to you being very stoked about how the presentation went. I then got shunned by BC dinning services. Went to Mike's girlfriends for dinner. And have been in my office ever since studying for the exam.
Sometimes I just go all out.
The weather is suppsed to get pretty crappy between tonight and tomorrow, so I may not drive back to jersey to go to my former company's christmas party. But we will see as we get closer to that bridge. I want to get a hair cut, but I don't see that happening before break, well who knows it just might. I also need to do laundry, I am in dire staights skibby-wise.
I talked to my friend Dana last night, Dana is one of my best friends at BC. She just happened to be one of my prize students who facebook stalked me and we have gotten to be good friends since. She is kindly doing some recon work for me as there is another girl that I teach that I am kinda crushing on. So there may be something starting there. She is a little young and that makes me a little aprehsive about my approaching it. I am tying to do the right thing. I am not a bad person as most of you know and I am not even approaching it for wrong reasons. But I will alert you to any changes on that front.
I am planning on giving my students a review session for their final on Sunday evening. I am also thinking about ordering pizza for them as a surprise. I hope they appreciate the gesture.
