Captain Kurotsuchi, unattended, sweeps into the center of Eleventh Division, bearing little more than a notepad and a writing implement -- unless he has something secretively tucked away in the voluminous folds of his robe. With little preamble, he asks the first shinigami he finds where Captain Zaraki and Third Seat Madarame are.

The Captains of Eighth and Thirteenth Divisions arrive in Twelfth Division. They make no secret of their approach, strolling in and expressing a desire to speak to Kurotsuchi-taichou.

"If the poor fellow isn't too busy, of course," Kyouraku-taichou adds helpfully. "We can always poke around by ourselves if necessary."
