Susan, Vivek’s ex girlfriend came to see me last night. Ended up staying over night. We talked at length about V. I should not do that but it seems the best to do. We had some meager supper and a long walk to Goodale Park. She told me her views on almost everything. Quite a fun lady to hang out with. First time I saw her was 7 months ago when she came with Vivek. In those days I used to sleep in the east room. For the longest time, I thought, Susan’s name was Virginia, before realizing that Virginia was some another girl friend of his.

I saw Susan at the comfest, riding her push bike with some wild flowers in her head, 3 packs of Nag-Champa (incense) in one hand and a big blunt in the other. She yelled at me from a mile distance, “ Hey man” and came running with the blunt and incense still intact. I was with Amie and chatted with her for a few moments. I told her that I always came with V to comfest and now it’s so alien not having him around when I am in my drunken stupor.

Anyways, Susan plans to go to India and do belly dancing on the streets there and earn her “passage through India”. I can easily see her on the streets of Connought Place or Parliament street, haggling the passer by’s for money or some holistic vision, with her pipe in hand and “Love” tattoo all tanned but still prominent.

Sis, sent me some 30 songs on i-tunes. Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reading list for next 40 days has been picked. I know I am re-reading a lot of those books again, but dear, I am not as smart as others, to assimilate, digest and egest all the information in one setting. Further, how can list be complete without Forster and Woolf? Susan made a pretty collage of them in the east room (reading room). Apparently, Susan is also an arrangement manic so she ended up arranging all these knick-knacks and taking pics! Tess, has been a very vocal and happy cat. Seems to me sometimes, she is like my grand ma. Always, yapping and I try to comprehend the few words which drool out of their mouths.

My birthday will be around the corner soon. I have to go for gift shopping and can’t decide what materialistic possessions I should acquire to make life more bearable. I have met this guy whom I am taking a bit slowly, a few milligrams of him every day. We had our first rendez-vous a week ago. He went to Yale and is working in Columbus. He is very intelligent and reads a lot and loves Chopin. Though he is a bit easy on Mary Poppins and Sound of Music but I can always work on that.

Its 9 am and I already have taken 2 baths. The house smells of Parsley as I burnt a huge bunch of them to ward off the bad smell of cigs.
