This marks the second year that I've been driving my car without any functioning heat. I've been trying to figure out why. See, here's the thing. The thermostat is shot. It's about $5. Actually, I believe I have one somewhere, even. At least I did, as I bought it right away when the one currently in the car broke. I just haven't fixed it. It's probably a two-hour job. I spend 1.5 hours per day in the car. You'd think I'd take the time. But no. It was 24 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, and driving to work Really And Officially Sucked. But I still have no plans on fixing it. And why?
Uh.
Not sure.
Well. Actually, maybe I am. I live in the tropics, no matter what K might claim. There are tiger lilies growing wild. Vineyards. You can grow peaches and oranges and lemons and crap right in your own back yard, if you take only the most basic precautions in winter. There are hummingbirds. Magnolias grow like weeds. Having air conditioning is considered a requirement for housing to be suitable for human use. There are tortoises all over. Rhododendrons climb the hillsides. Enough already. It's the tropics, alright? This means that I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SCRAPE THE WINDOWS OF MY CAR, AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT BEING COLD IN THE MORNINGS.
