Shoo-be-do-be-doooo

One of those Mondays again. I never saw the point of 'em myself.

Yum-te-dum-te-dum. (The Wal-Mart song). According to habit, I don't have a whole lot to say today. We had a pretty nice and normal weekend, except for buying a lot of movies. After all, what home is complete without a complete set of Batman DVD's? Not ours, obviously, but that's no longer an issue. Somehow, K doesn't seem to appreciate my efforts at perfecting the homestead, but she'll probably see reason sooner or later.

I've had some tremendously exciting mandolin building development, but I have this sneaky feeling that no one wants to hear about it. K is brilliantly patient with me and sometimes I can barely tell that she's faking it when she agrees with me just how exciting it is when I've glued something to something else, arms and watches not included. Sooner or later I guess I'll have to slap some pictures up somewhere, and then you're in for it, whether you want to be or not.

The weather has continuously been acting very foreign lately. I probably saw more lightning during Friday afternoon than I did during my first 25 years of living. I'm not sure I've seen more rainfall in total here or in Sweden, but it's got to be a close call by now. I continuously point out to K that we're living in the tropics, but she disagrees. One of these days I'm going to have to force her to go outside some evening after it's rained and listen to the frogs. No sane human being could hear those frogs and not believe they're in the tropics. Sometimes they're louder than the rednecks, something I thought was impossible.

Gak. I really need a haircut. I just realized that I've been sitting here playing with my hair for the last few minutes. I'm so glad no one sees me in my little office room thingie. Back to work!
