Review of Gantz 2:

Jun 11, 2012 21:34

Ok, it's been awhile, but I haven't really focused on this journal since exam time. Anyway I'm back and I would like to start off with Nino's movie, Gantz 2: perfect Answer. And I watched this one on blue-ray :D

Anyway, if you remember my review on Gantz 1, I'll give you a short answer in case you're a bit busy: Gantz 2 was MUCH better!!!! :) :) :)

This movie continues where the first one ended, although in the beginning it was quite confusing. I didn't know what was going on so I was as confused as my family who was watching it with me (and hadn't seen the first one, either) -.- I definitely won't spoil it. Some shows/movies, I don't give a crap, but for this one you will HAVE to watch, especially for the ending. Better yet, if you need a reason to watch the first movie watch it for the second movie's ending. It hit me hard...

For those that got attracted to Gantz by its action, it might be a strain on you for the first half hour or so, but then it REALLY really really really really picks up. There was no bad character, the music added to the effect and even though it had a different aura than the first, it was quite enjoyable as a pair.

But for all means, don't sit there and think "Oh my gosh! I just have to watch this movie now." No, please don't get that excited. For those that love Nino, it is definitely a good one to add to your collection and even for those in their spare time. However, don't go out of your way to watch it.

Overall, the movie was a commerical, star-studded action film, with a more humanistic (if I can dare go that far) touch. Great ending.

(eh? He's back? Is he...?)
