Goodbye BuffyWorld
Am I leaving BuffyWorld? Uhm, not exactly. But I won't be able to go there anymore by the end of this post. You'll see why. I'll even make this public so the administrator herself can read it. Please, read all of it because I REALLY want to get my point across.
The way things are being handled is just plain ridiculous. This is not even IMO, this is a statement of fact. We all know it- BW is going downhill. It's not even being helped- nothing is being done about it. If anything, it's being made worse.
First of all, and let me tell you, this is not the main reason why I'm posting this, a club that caused NO HARM to the forum AT ALL was banned. I can deal with that, sure-- if there had been an actual reason for banning it. People may think there were reasons, but there really wasn't. ATD, for your information (and this is coming from the creator of THAT club, was not even made to oppose TEG or because they were offended by it. They just wanted to have their own little group. Is that such a problem? Because if it is, wow. I also still see other clubs in user titles/sigs and the people with them haven't been warned. What's up with THAT? And we all know about the cliques in the VIP. I'm not going to rant about them and be redundant. We ALL know what I'm talking about here (or at least those of us on my flist that are on BW).
Secondly, what the HELL gives any member of the forum to call another member pathetic, let alone the freaking admin?! That is just plain low. How do you find thrill in driving so many members away from the forum? Oh yeah, that's right. You don't care who leaves, as long as you have sooo many members! *rolls eyes* Which, uh, by the way, how many of those 2000 members actually effing post?!

Third. Just because you're the admin doesn't mean you're above the rules, does it? I thought the rules were for EVERYONE. Giving yourself or someone else back the rep that someone took away from you is rep abuse. You shouldn't be accusing anyone else of reputation abuse when you, yourself, are committing it. That's extremely hypocritical.
Fourth. Last time I checked, Livejournal was in no way affliated with BuffyWorld. At all. I thought that Livejournal was a place where you could express your opinions without bias. I guess not, because apparently you can be banned for what you say on Livejournal (which undoubtably, I will be). No freedom of speech? Wow, I know forums aren't entirely a democracy but now we can't even say what we FEEL? I wonder why ANYONE wants to be on a forum where you can't speak your own mind. Hell, even America isn't this strict. And that is saying something.
People have had their VIP rights revoked because of what they said on Livejournal. What the hell is wrong with THIS picture? A lot of things, if you ask me.
I may be missing something but to conclude, I really enjoyed my stay at BuffyWorld while it lasted. At least I got to meet new people, and especially the people I am close friends with now. Thank you for at least giving me the opportunity to do that. But since I can definitely post my fanfiction elsewhere, and since I am sure Heather will understand me not finishing up our battle. I just really can't stay on a forum where the running of it is so damn bias. I'm not putting anything on the mods, because a lot of you aren't causing any problems at all and are just doing what you have to, which I find completely understandable. I know that for what I'm saying here, I will no longer be allowed on the forum. Hell, I'll do Nikki a favour and just put my own usertitle as banned. I'm sure that my absence won't affect many people, because, after all, apparently since BW has over 2000 members they are great enough. The administrator says she wants the "right" members there.
