Christina and I have decided to move to Chicago in the summer of 2008. Like, 11 months from now. I am very excited.
No, I haven't graduated from college yet. But at the rate I'm going, I'm not going to in the fall like I had hoped anyways. So, i figured I may as well transfer and at least be somewhere that I wanna be.
I'm not getting anything accomplished here because a) I hate it so much here, and B) The only thing they teach you for elementary ed is everything you need in order to be a Florida Public School teacher, something I'm NEVER going to be. It's all pointless, and as long as I graduate by the time I'm 26, I'll be happy. I dont care how long it takes, as long as I'm making enough money to get by and have fun.
I applied to Chicago State University, and I'm going to apply to North Eastern Illinois University as soon as I get money for the registration fee. haha.
Hopefully they will accept me and most of my credits will transfer. As long as it is not more than like 8-10 classes I have to retake, it will be good. I'm moving even if it's more, but yeah.
I figure I'm gonna go back to get my masters or music education degree right after anyways, so I may as well get into a college in the place I wanna live and teach. Chicago!
