Our end of term do was going to be a fiasco. Years 7 and 9 all booked for Drayton Manor ages ago, and they were sorted. I'm a Year 8 tutor, it was all left to the head of year, who had nothing sorted by last night. Tosser. We got one of the kids cousins in to DJ for a while, so we sent them home after a disco, with them all dolled up to the eyeballs in nasty make up and high heels (well, the girls anyway...and perhaps some dodgy boys in 8L), high on cheap pop and nibbles.

Ah well, bugger them for another 6 weeks :D I just put my feet up and watched Little Britain in a classroom with a box of Quality Street for company. :D

Not sure about the LJ thing - I think you do lose all your settings/icons etc :(

Oh man, that sounds like complete mayhem! I would not have liked to have been there.... and nor do I want to imagine the year 8 boys in high heels and nasty make-up.... *shudders* Anyway, yep, the next 6 weeks should be great! Hmm, the LJ thing is a problem... looks like I might have to either download all my icons again (I have no other copies) or just go in search of a credit card around the house! :P

Luckily the kids enjoyed it and had a good old banghra-related time at the disco. No rest for me just yet - I've got summer school starting on Monday !

Hey, thanks for the offer, but don't worry. I dont want it to look like I'm scrounging for money, I'm sure I'll be able to scrape some together... its really my lack of a credit card that poses the problem! :P Thanks again!
