Of course, the top news today is yet another bomb threat in the capital. All is apparently safe and well now. But it does make you worry. Even moreso with the fact I'll be in London on Tuesday - or at least I hope I will be if trains aren't disrupted.
Wednesday was my nan's birthday, where I spent the entire day building new kitchen units, installing a cat flap, hauling really heavy furniture up two flights of really steep stairs past her chair lift, cleaning floors and surfaces and generally sorting stuff out. Thursday, I woke up incredibly tired (I don't know how that one works) and in absolute agony - none of my limbs would move without the ol' excruciation! To make things worse, when I was making my bed, I flipped up my duvet, and there was a really big spider having a sleep in my bed (had he been there all night with me!?) - I jumped, and - oh good god, the pain! The spider ran down back under the bed and hid. Of course, I hobbled out of my room as fast as I could possibly manage, and didn't return for another 15 minutes. I didn't get up properly until 11 or so - much later than I have been recently (ie 8am, 9am, 8:30am, 6am) just because I was so tired and could not be bothered...
Later in the day on Thursday, I watched Memento, which gave me a chance to lie down on my spider-homed bed and just enjoy the film. Very good! I even watched it twice - once backwards (ie, forwards) and then forwards (in other words, watching it backwards - which is forwards because it was already backwards and was now reversed to forwards). Very enjoyable. I also received... Kuri Kuri Mix. And I have a picture to prove it!
Needless to say, the game is nigh impossible when playing on your own. I still managed to complete level 1 with a grade of "E". Yes, I didn't *FAIL*! Now I'm hungry, so I will go in search of food-like substances.
