I have such an insatiable urge to go out and buy
Guitar Hero now, after sampling the highlights of the fun game with a newly developed indie game called
Frets on Fire, which basically replaces the custom guitar controller for your keyboard. It was only just released the other day as part of the Finnish computer festival,
Assembly and only, so far, has three tracks to play and a tutorial, but it is such a fun game! It took me some time to pick up playing just in the easy mode, and I still always make mistakes (which makes an awful sounding distorted noise) but good gawd, is it fun!
In other news,
wormlover uploaded some of the
movies we made the other day on Molyneux's
The Movies, including my scriptwriting debut, "
Thompson, a romance movie" and our first movie with voicing, "
The Brain Readers" (although we didnt write that script) and finally, when
axeman2002 arrived, we worked on "
Waining-fest!!" where I'm hideously malled to death by Mark. And we mucked up with costumes too. Don't know how that happened, but after the first scene all was good. It took a lot longer to film than we expected because the actor playing me, Jon Pope had an addiction with food, and kept wandering off during filming. Gerrr! Ah well, we got it done in the end, and now you can see the finished result on the Tubes of Intarnets! I also played on the demo of Galactic Civilizations II, but still decided I didn't want to buy the full game, because I'd probably get bored of it quickly! Me and my short attenti... ooh a
pony!
My insane post-hiccup pain went away last night, fortunately, and all was well, but it did mean I didn't get to sleep until about midnight, after planning to go a lot earlier. But I did sleep in until about 11.30 this morning, to catch up on some sleep I had been missing out on. I did a tad bit of programming this morning, then got bored, and went back to my usual antics.
Moth on the wall. Where's my whacking paper?!
Oh yes!
