673: Incurable hiccups
So, how long has it been since there was a normal sort of post? In fact, most peeps have been like this lately, yeah? It hasn't been too big a loss, so I guess we'll just continue with the flow. I had killer-hiccups earlier this evening, which lasted for almost an hour consisting of *hic* *painful groan* *slight gap* - and repeat. And they were really painful. I now seem to have pulled some muscles or something, because I have some horrible pains in my stomach/chest/diaphragm. I tried taking some indigestion tablets in case that was at fault, I tried drinking milkshake, I tried laying down on my back for 30 minutes, I tried laying on my front but no such luck for any of 'em. So I've still got me some pains in my belly.
Yesterday, I went around to wormlover's, and created some movies on "The Movies" which was fun, I enjoyed that game a lot. Some of our movies kicked some arse, especially "Thompson, a love movie" and "The Brain Readers". My studio was in last place all the time, but we had made some good movies, and I think my plot looked pretty good, complete with road running through. Afterwards, axeman2002 came over, and after his con-fuddling of Hitman, we set off to go see Warrior King in the cinema. And got the times wrong, so I left half-way through! I went and picked up mischa_craven and we went onwards to im_snuffles's party! Hurrah! Grand party, well done! Also there was samegrazedknees, baron_josef, pcek and other non-LJ-y people!
Today, I got home at about 1.30am, and in bed by 2am, and got up, somehow at 8.45! Don't know how I managed that. At lunch I went in to Sheffi to meet up with mischa_craven again, hurrah! And Pete was there too, who still hadn't been home since Shula's party because he kept bumping into people. Ouch! After lots of shopping, we ate some pasties in the Peace Gardens (Summer came back!) and then laid on the grass for an hour or so, before Han got kicked in the head by some random girl! We also went to the see the new watery-globe-y things, and I got heavily splashed! Rar! So walked about for a while with a soaking right-hand-side. Fortunately for me, the sun was shining, and it didn't take long to dry off, and then *splosh* noises to go away. After dropping Han off at 5, I drove fast home. Not faster than the speed limit of course, because I'm a good little boy. And then the evening went on, and I got severe hiccups. And now you know where it got me up to now.
I watched all the Lord of the Rings in a row the other day for the first time in a long time. And damnit, it took me a while, what with pausing when other things came up. In the end, it took me two days to watch the first, and then the extended second and third. My favourite scene is in the first just after Frodo says "I'll take the ring" - I just looooove the expression on Gandalf's eyes there. Fantastico! And then the second best scene is in RotK, where Aragorn and Co go to the gate, and that Mouth of Sauron comes out. Oh, he rocks so much. And then... Headslice! Oooh, burn! I love the kinda look on his mouth you can see there. Its all like "Oh... he's gonna chop my head off isnt he? Well...... crap."
Other than that, been watching Mushishi, which is really quite cool. It's erm... well, what exactly is it about? Well, there are these special lifeforms called Mushis that do all these weird things. And well, there's no overarching storyline at all in the show, each episode is one-offs. And, okay, this explanation isn't going down well. Its.... just some sorta historical-naturey-fantasy-spirity-kinda show which stars a Mushishi (a studier of Mushis) called Ginko. Also been watching (lesser-of-note) some of the newer Bleach episodes, and started watching Black Lagoon.
And now, I'm boiling hot, and in need of sleep! So g'night folkses!
