WTF is this, I live in the south!
So, it’s snowing.
Which in and of itself is cool. Except this is Georgia and we are completely and woefully unprepared for this kind of weather. And I guarantee my job is going to make me come in to work my shift tomorrow, but the weather is only going to get worse, and as it is, it took me nearly two hours to get home. I really have doubts about being able to get there.
The problem comes in, that I’m sure they’ll somehow find a way to use that against me later. I really would feel terrible about having to call out, but if I can’t get there safely, I’d like to think they’d rather loose me for a day then loose me for the weeks it would take to recover from a car accident, or having to replace me if I you know, died or something.
But as I left tonight, it sounds like most of the people there are already wondering if they’ll be able to get in/get home. So I guess we’ll see.
