Seventy four minutes of awesome.

That's in reference to the party mix one of Mose's friends made in February, which spread like wildfire over the Hartwick campus, and is now on my iPod. Taking up way too much space, but as driving music goes, you can't get any better.

Right. Hartwick. Awesome. Got there, Chris was waiting in the admissions lounge with the NYC regional admissions counselor (Who greeted me with 'Sky! We've been waiting for you!' and gave me a hug - I love how personal this school is). Took off to the NewRes dorms, dropped my stuff, went to pay visits... met Chris' roommate for the first time, since he was off with some chick last time I was up there. Nicola just got back from 'Trin-dad' - I can't tell if it's the accent that makes her so damned attractive, and brought with her four bottles of ridiculously smooth rum with a fairly low proof. I was good this time; didn't even drink enough to get a buzz.

But oh, did we blaze. Three times over the course of thursday night, with various people, before Chris took me on a scenic tour of downtown Oneonta, and then we lounged around the dorms some. It was tame - most people were out in town, but Chris had class at 8:30 AM.

My friday itinerary confused me a shitload. Communications is pretty much out, there - I'd take half my classes at SUCO anyway - but the Nursing class I sat in on was actually really interesting, and the lab facilities are great. I just don't know if I'm willing to commit myself 100% to spending the rest of my life in that career, even if they are in crazy high demand. The history class was great, the professor was informal to the point of throwing a chair across the room to prove Aristotle's point - I forget which exactly. This really seems like the kind of place I could dig - great, interesting academics, and a perfect night scene. Not seven thousand people all at one party, manageable sizes, but good fun.

Muhlenberg is going to have to work hard to top this. Next year I'm going to have an in with a bunch of ten sophomores in Wilder hall, all of whom are friggin awesome.

*waves little Hartwick flag* Yaaaay Hartwick.
