Feckin' water

It's days like this that I really hate Irish weather, a rainy day I can handle but this is just plain annoying. I left the house to go to the Post office collection depot out in the business park to pick up Katie's 21st birthday present (framed limited edition Mulan film strip, which she loved) as no-one was around on Monday when the postman tried to deliver it. About 20 yards down the road I was thinking I probably needn't have bothered with the jumper as the sun was beating down. However, when I got to the bridge over the motorway, it began to rain, hard. It was lashing down, I was soaked to the skin within seconds. I ran to shelter, just as the rain died down, so I continued on to the depot and picked up the present. Then the rain picked up again, so I called a cab to go home.
I then changed my jumper and went down to the dry cleaners to pick up my suit, I took off my jumper on the way because the sun was once more beating down. Picked up the suit then stopped into centra for a roll, when I left it started raining, hard, and with hailstones this time. Took forever getting my keys out at my door, worrying about my suit, even though it was in plastic. came up to my room, threw off my jumper. I'm sitting on my bed now, and the sun is shining in my window. Goddamnit.
