The paper prints a Sudoku every day, and they rate them on a scale of 1-4 for difficulty. The Friday's puzzle is always a 4, and usually pretty tough, but today it was damn near impossible. I was only able to put in one number before just giving up completely.
So I did end up having a nice half-day off yesterday. The university changed the "open at noon" to "closed for the day" at around 10:30. I stayed until noon and went home. The roads were completely fine. I was also supposed to have a Pride Charlotte meeting last night, and that was canceled. I did try to be productive at home. I am getting my 2nd bedroom ready to start scrapbooking, so I am trying to do another round of purge. I concentrated on CDs and copied a bunch of them onto my iTunes so I can get rid of the actual CDs. I managed to clear out about 20 or so that way, but I am keeping all of my favorite CDs in addition to having them on the computer, just in case something happened and I needed the originals.
For coming in yesterday, I will get 4 hours of time off I can use later. That's cool, since I just used up 40 hours of vacation time! And it was kind of fun working when there was hardly anyone here.
Just a few more hours left and it's officially the weekend! I'm not sure what I'll be doing. Frank had said something about going to Biltmore, but I'm not sure if we're still doing that or not. Right now a nap sounds good.
Edited to Add: I've uploaded a scan of the Sudoku in case anyone wants to see it.
The quality's poor, but I think it's readable. There are only 3 numbers in each square other than the middle square, which has 4, and the one where I wrote in a 4.
