We got a lot of ice here this weekend. I'm kind of disappointed that it was on a Saturday- we don't even get a day off. Tonight we are supposed to be at Grey Gardens, The Musical, but I decided to call and exchange our tickets for next weekend. Our parking lot is a sheet of ice, and I hear the roads aren't much better, so I figured it was better to just stay in and not risk it. Hopefully driving conditions will improve by tomorrow, because I'm supposed to meet Mike (the ex-husband) for lunch and to give him the teddy bear I bought on eBay. I'm still a little ambivalent about seeing him, but I would like to give him the bear, as well as some old photos I've been saving for him.
Today Red Sox single-game tickets went on sale. They have this torturous sales system known as the Virtual Waiting Room, where you get on-line and wait...and wait....and wait to be connected to the purchase screen. Frank & I each logged on from our computers a little before 10AM, when the tickets go on sale. After about 3 hours I was ready to just give up and go to Plan B- Stub Hub. Finally around 12:45PM I got in, and was able to buy tickets to the 2 games in June we wanted, the week of my high school reunion. So, that trip is coming together. We have to make the rest of the plans now. I haven't been to Fenway in over 10 year, and Frank's never been there.
