Wow, your day sounds remarkably similar to mine. I wish I had Dr. Pepper though...I only have ginger ale, left over from the flu. I think this whole past week has been gorgeous...and I missed it all. Figures!! :P

Boo, hiss on the Red Socks. Nah... with chavah a Red Socks fan, mhael a Pirates fan and Michael a Yankees fan (my beloved Orioles skipped town in the middle of the night and became traitors while I was growing up so I just claim Yankees by marriage), I am simply happy when at least one member of our family is happy.

And my beloved Sabres are doing a belly up since the Olympics -- just when we were starting to believe... sigh.

Re: the recluse state... easy to fall into. Don't make a habit of it. Go get some sunshine, girl!

Yes, I did go outside today, albeit only to go to the post office, lunch, and grocery store. It was beautiful. Then when I got home I opened the windows for the kitties- they love that.

Hi there. I am not sure how you came across my LJ, but I just noticed you had friended me. From five minutes of browsing your LJ, I think I will enjoy yours quite a lot. I'm afraid that once you read my friends-only entries, you shall make a hasty retreat from mine. :)

Thanks for the friend-back! I think I did a search for people around the age of 30 in North Carolina who list The Simpsons as an interest. Then I looked at some of the profiles that came up, and saw we had a few other common interests.
