Red Sox Nation South!
Tonight I was driving home from work and I saw a car with a vanity plate that said "GO RDSOX." I thought that was pretty cool. They went ahead and passed by me on the other lane, and then I noticed that the car in front of me had a "RDSOXGRL" license plate. Whoo-hoo! I should put something on my car denoting that I am a Red Sox fan. Just because I am from the northeast I would not want to be mistaken for a Yankees fan!
Syracuse missed the NCAAs again this year. They're a #1 seed in the NITs. Ummm....yay? Seriously, though, they had a very young team this year, and couple of main guys out with season-long injuries. So, hopefully next year will be better. Meanwhile, the women's team will be in the NCAA's for the first time in 6 years, and they're a 7-seed, so that's good for them.
I gave the wedding dress away today. After several e-mails and phone calls back and forth with one of the people who responded to my Freecycle post, she came to pick it up today at my office. Well, from the parking lot, actually. It's been in my car since Thursday. So, hopefully she will enjoy wearing it, or at least, pass it along to someone else if it's not going to work for her.
I'm working on making some new icons. I'll start using them soon.
