(no subject)
It's another one of those Sunday nights where I feel like I should update my LJ, but nothing really inspires me.
The weekend was good. Yesterday was the "Ring of Fire" show, which was fun. It was sort of like the shows they have on a cruise. I didn't really know a lot of the Johnny Cash songs, other than the very well-known ones like "Ring of Fire" and "I Walk the Line" (duh) but today I downloaded a few more to add to my library. We went to the afternoon show, and when we came out of the theater it was pouring rain. We made a mad dash to the car and drove home. There was some pretty good lightning. At some point along 85, my passenger-side windshield wiper broke in half. Luckily the loose piece slid all the way to the edge of the windshield, rather than flying off and hitting a car or something, but I had to open the window, reach out and get it. Then we stayed in the rest of the night, watching TV, playing Trivial Pursuit (90's Edition).
Today Frank got a haircut, then we went grocery shopping. Yeah, exciting stuff. I spent the rest of the day reading the paper and doing laundry. For dinner I made "ravioli lasagna." It's kind of like lasagna, except you make the layers out of square cheese ravioli. It turned out really good.
I really need to make some new icons. I am so bored of the ones I have. I never think of it until I'm actually posting, and then I don't want to get sidetracked from finishing posting. But I will have to do something about it.
Gaahhhhh...guess it's time to go to bed. Maybe I'll wake up and be more interesting.
