Gratuitous kitten post
When I was a kid my grandfather found a litter of five kittens in his garage and my family ended up taking them in. They were only a few weeks old, still needed to be bottle fed and everything, so we had the fun of raising them until they were old enough to adopt out. Recently my mom found a bunch of old film, which turned out to be over a decade old, and got it developed. One of the rolls was photos of the kittens.
So, this is pretty much a "cats on the internet" post, but they are kittens I personally knew! I'm getting all nostalgic for my kitten-raising days.
This was my bed, btw. The kittens stayed in my room because we had to keep the dog and other cat away from them, and my bedroom door was the only one they couldn't push open. So I got the kitten room :D
This puffball is Blackie, who grew up into this larger puffball. He was the smallest of the litter and, well, wasn't exactly the smartest cat around- I remember him having trouble eating, biting at the milk bottle's nipple rather than suckling and smooshing his face in the wet food. My dad especially took a liking to the runt, so we kept him. :3
