So I've been attempting to not spend a lot of money for the last few months, actually I think it's been about four... Good Lord. I've been reasonably good about it.
Until these last few weeks. *headwall*
I got home from uni and all of a sudden WHOA shopping. Not good. Though, tbh, I've still been pretty good about it. I've been mostly window shopping. I wanted these (I swear the purse section of every department store was built purely to test me)
(Dooney & Bourke)
(B. Makowsky)
yes, a bit boring... but boring happens to go with everything. And the Dooney would solve my I-have-lot's-of-bags-but-no-black-one problem. It's taken me two years, but I've found the bag I want. Now if it will just go on sale. I was sorely tempted but my sister gave me that look and was like "you're going to Italy in two weeks, buy things there" at which point I huffed and put it back on the rack.
Then we went to Charlottesville and did some shopping while my other sister visited a friend for lunch. I bought vinegar. Random? yes. Tasty? oh hell yes. We wandered into
Oil & Vinegar. I wish there was one of these closer to home. They had blood orange oil... not that I've ever used that before, but doesn't it sound cool? I also went into Banana Republic. *sigh* That place is never good to my bank account.
At BR I bought...

and
And then about a week ago I realised I was going to need a watch for this trip, since I don't own one (I use my cellphone) and I'm not going to have my cell on this trip since it doesn't work overseas. So I bought this, which is really more of a bracelet than a watch but I like it that way.
I've been attempting to wear it everyday to get used to it. It's a bit odd having the weight on my arm again... I haven't worn a watch since that
Baby-G craze in 5th grade. I still have that watch *shakes head* that's the only fad I ever bought into. Never again.
Anyway, so much for not spending money. And today to top it all off I bought a
new camera to replace the one I broke last summer. Electronics and I do not get along. But hey! If I break this one, Best Buy's gonna replace it. Score!
I almost forgot... I went to the Greek Festival on friday and saw the cutest earrings. So when I went back yesterday I gave in and bought them. *sigh* shopping is such a weakness.
