I've been writing letters recently. The last few days I've written five letters to be sent out tomorrow or Friday, depending on which day I get to the post office, one for each address that I have from finally unpacking the last of the boxes from moving and finding all the letters that I've recieved in the last few years; which came to a whopping ( Read more... )

I have not read any of the books, and sadly I probably never will.

Story time~

You see once upon a time when I was a boy in high school, yes many many moons ago, I had a crush on this girl. After years of being friends we started dating, and she was a hardcore Harry Potter fan. Dragging me to see the first movie in the theater despite me having no clue what Harry Potter was as well as raving on and on about it afterwards. In essence I know all that there is to know about Harry Potter and the Potter verse without having picked up a single book. But as that relationship ended rather badly after three years, the series as a whole has a certain albatross hanging around it's neck which I refuse to go near.

That and sadly I can't read any series longer than a trilogy for becoming complacent with a writer's style and predicting what's going to happen.

Well... wrong for the conversation. But I think the only icons that would be truly inappropriate would also be against the TOS. Soooooo~~ yeah. lol

I have seen the first six movies, having only seen the first two in movie theaters though and waiting for the rest to come out on dvd.
